The brief
Meridian had outgrown the hotel-ballroom format and wanted a summit that felt like a product launch. The non-negotiable was registration: previous years had produced a 40-minute queue on day one.
What we did
Two stages with independent AV, a delegate app fed from our ticketing API, and eight scanning stations running the same check-in endpoint. Delegate tiers mapped to ticket types, so access control was inventory rather than wristband colour.
The result
Peak registration throughput of 122 delegates per minute, and a nine-minute clearance for the day-one keynote rush.
Registration had been our worst review score two years running. This year nobody mentioned it, which is exactly the outcome we wanted.
